Quarry is an open mining system that is applied to extract mining materials such as industrial excavations or industrial materials
There are a number of methods for mining in quarries, including excavation (suitable for quarries with small rock characteristics), heating (for horizontal rock geographic conditions), scraping (for very hard rock geographic conditions, sometimes drilling is also required) and blasting (using controlled explosives, which are inserted into holes in the rock).
To date, WIKA Beton has three mining areas, namely in Cigudeg, Central Lampung, and Donggala. Quarry in Donggala is the land with the longest availability of reserves, reaching 40 years.
Stone chunks with > 25 cm dimension and 200 kg – 2 ton weight.
Used for breakwater product, soil retaining, and stone crusher raw material
Used for soil embankment for building or roadway structure
Single size stone material produced by stone crushing machine.
The products can be applied for :
concrete aggregates, pavement sub base and base course, hotmix/asphalt aggregates, railway ballast.
Split and Stone Ashes mix with certain composition used for pavement base.
